Assistant/Associate Provost for Student Success

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Provost for Student Success (AP-SS), with a start date of July 2021.  The Assistant/Associate Provost for Student Success is the student affairs leader who champions student success and retention programs and operations at the university. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Provost, the AP-SS manages the Office for Student Success. The AP-SS leads the student life, sports, student government, international student experience, student exchange and study abroad programs and related services for all students at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the university. He/she works collaboratively with AURAK’s assistant/associate provosts, deans, program chairs, faculty, other senior administrators, students, international university partners and other stakeholders in the development, planning and execution of the university’s student affairs strategies and activities.  The AP-SS also oversees the implementation of the Student Academic Integrity Policy and programming for the residence halls located on the AURAK campus.
