1. Data Analyst

The Data Analyst at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing institutional and operational data to provide meaningful insights that guide academic, administrative, and strategic decision-making. The role ensures accuracy and integrity of data, develops comprehensive reports and dashboards, and identifies trends that support efficiency, student success, and the university’s long-term growth. By transforming complex datasets into clear and actionable information, the Data Analyst enables stakeholders across the university to make informed, data-driven decisions.

2. Community and Employer Engagement Executive (UAE NATIONAL ONLY)

Under the management of the VP, Institutional Advancement and External Relations, the  Community and Employer Engagement Executive will help manage the office’s operational requirements, handle various duties and responsibilities which include but not limited to providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, assisting VP, IAER on duties relating to community engagement, internships, career and alumni services, business development and partnerships related-activities, organization of key events, internal and external communications and coordination, new enterprise and commercial market research, etc. The community and employer engagement executive is responsible for all confidential and time sensitive materials of the office.

3. Senior Partnerships Officer (UAE NATIONAL ONLY)

The Senior Partnerships Officer will play a strategic role in identifying, developing, and managing national and international partnerships that align with institutional goals. This role involves establishing strong networks with corporate, governmental, nonprofit, and academic entities, while ensuring compliance, documentation, reporting, and follow-up. The senior partnership executive will facilitate relationship development, oversee partnership agreements (MOUs), and lead initiatives to expand industry, public, and private entities collaborations that support employability, research, student engagement, and funding opportunities.

4. Senior Officer – Talent Management and Employee Relations (UAE NATIONAL ONLY)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Senior Officer – Talent Management and Employee Relations. This role plays a key part in driving employee engagement, performance, and compliance across the university.

5. Senior Administrator - OSIE

The purpose of the Senior Administrator (DSIE and OSIE) position is to provide secretarial and administrative support to the DSIE and the OSIE team.

6. Graphic Designer

To support university requirements which include visualizing and creating graphics like illustrations, logos, layouts, photos, etc, to shape the visual aspects of reports, magazines, university branding, exhibition requirements and more and to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into designs.

8. Teaching Assistant- Architecture

The School of Engineering and Computing at the American University of Ras Al-Khaimah is inviting skilled applicants for the position of Teaching Assistant in the program of Architecture in the department of Architecture and Civil Engineering. This position is competitive to begin working enthusiastically with students of architecture in Fall 2025 by September 2025.

9. Assistant/Associate Professor in Business Analytics

We invite applications for the following faculty position for Spring 2026: Assistant/Associate Professor in Business Analytics The faculty member appointed to this position will be credentialed to teach Business Analytics in both undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition to demonstrating the potential for teaching excellence, the faculty hired to this position must have a research record or agenda that supports being classified as a “scholarly academic” under the AACSB accreditation standards.  All AURAK faculty must also engage in service to the university, the discipline, and the community.

The International Partnerships Manager will play a strategic role in identifying, developing, local, regional, and international academic partnerships focusing more on the very reputable international universities that align with AURAK’s institutional goals. This role involves establishing strong networks with education entities that serve AURAK’s students furthering their learnings and achieving their goals. The manager will facilitate relationship development, oversee partnership agreements (MOUs), and lead initiatives to expand academic collaborations that support entrepreneurship, academic quality, research, student engagement, and funding opportunities.

11. Alumni Engagement Manager

The Alumni Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that foster strong relationships between the university and its alumni community. This role enhances alumni engagement through targeted communication, events, programs, fund-raising activities, training and development activities, and other initiatives aimed at strengthening the alumni network and promoting lifelong involvement with the university. The manager also supports career development for alumni and students by facilitating connections with alumni professionals.

12. Career Development Senior Officer (UAE National ONLY)

The Career Development Senior Officer plays a strategic role in enhancing the employability and professional growth of students and alumni by designing and delivering impactful career education, upskilling initiatives, and skill development programs. The role focuses on fostering strong relationships between the institution, employers, students, and alumni to facilitate career readiness, meaningful employment opportunities, and lifelong learning and career adaptability.

13. Assistant/Associate Professor in Petroleum Engineering- Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department

The Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Petroleum Engineering, starting in Spring 2026. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, along with at least one postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in areas such as drilling, reservoir simulation, reservoir characterization, stimulation, and production, in addition to a solid foundation in core chemical engineering principles.
