1. Adjunct Faculty Position in Geotechnical Engineering
American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position beginning in Fall 2025 (August). Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering).
2. Registration Officer
To efficiently implement and maintain approved policies, procedures, and practices related to student registration, records, degree audits, and graduation processes. The Registration Officer ensures the accuracy and confidentiality of student records, supports academic progression and maintains students’ records from their first semester until graduation.
3. Partnerships and Industry Executive
Under the VP IA&ER direction, the Office of Institutional Advancement and External Relations Administrator will manage the office's operational requirements, and handle various duties and responsibilities which include but are not limited to providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office, assisting VP IA&ER on duties relating to partnership relationships, industry access, meeting management and follow-up, briefing preparation, organization of key events, industry and stakeholder assessment, internal and external communications and coordination, market research, etc. The Partnerships and Industry Executive is responsible for all confidential and time-sensitive materials of the office.
4. Assistant Professor, Psychology
The School of Arts and Sciences, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Psychology position, with a specialization in Developmental Psychology, starting August 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the new BS in Psychology program that AURAK will launch in the Fall 2025.
5. Assistant Registration (UAE NATIONAL ONLY)
The Assistant Registration is accountable for providing support in the daily operations of the Office of the Registrar. This role encompasses administrative, clerical, and customer service tasks, focusing on the meticulous management of student records and documents in adherence to the university's admission criteria, requirements, and compliance with the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and Ministry of Education (MOE) policies and procedures. Responsibilities include auditing files for graduation requirements, verifying document authenticity, preparing filings and reports for external accreditation body visits, maintaining up-to-date student record filings, ensuring document privacy, and managing other assigned tasks.
6. Dean of the School of Business
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) seeks an innovative, experienced educator to lead its School of Business, as the university embarks on a new strategic plan focused on providing a transformational, student-centered learning experience based on the North American model of higher education enriched by attention to the culture of the region. The School of Business currently offers one undergraduate program (BS in Business Administration) with majors in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Hospitality and Tourism Management. It also offers two graduate programs (MBA and Executive MBA). The school has been granted initial accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 2023.
