Job Purpose

The purpose of the Office Coordinator - Office of Institutional Strategy and Excellence position is to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Strategy and Excellence Officer and the Office of Institutional Strategy and Excellence team.

 

Minimum Qualification and Education

Essential: Diploma in secretarial or administrative related discipline.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • The ability to work collegially with others in an academic setting.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Work Experience

Essential:  At least five years’ experience providing support to senior officials.

Desirable: Previous experience within an academic institution.

                   Previous experience of Higher Education accreditation processes.

                   Familiarity with reporting requirements within Higher Education.

 

Language proficiency required

Proficient in English (bi-lingual Arabic speaker preferred)
