• Job Purpose


The IR Manager is responsible to the Chief Strategy and Excellence Officer for the provision and analysis of institutional data and information to support programs in demonstrating achievement of program learning outcomes.  The IR Manager will develop training programs, systems and processes in conjunction with faculty as part of the University’s drive to continuously improve the quality of student outcomes.  In addition, the IR Manager will conduct feasibility studies to provide schools and departments with Labor Market Intelligence about the sectors covered by programs and the school. 


• Minimum Qualification and Education


 Masters in Student Assessment and Measurement (or equivalent subject area) from an accredited University 

 Teaching Qualification


• Required Knowledge and Skills


 The ability to work collegially with others in an academic setting.

 Knowledge of accreditation process, student assessment and measurement and quality improvement processes.

 Demonstrable commitment to quality improvement in Higher Education.

 IT literacy in assessment and measurement of student achievement as well as standard Microsoft Office software.


• Work Experience 


 Previous experience in a similar role.

 Previous experience of quality improvement frameworks (desirable).

 Experience of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Establishment.


• Language proficiency required


 Proficient in English (Arabic desirable)
