Job Purpose

          Ensuring that university news is always updated in the media and the management message is clearly incorporated in releases. 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities


•     Coordinate online or print publishing cycle and manage content areas

•     Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations

•     Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience’s preferences

•     Coordinate and write the University’s profile, annual reports, and any other official publication.

•     Proofread, edit and improve stories or press releases to be distributed in different media channels.

•     Proofread, edit and improve brochures, flyers or any other publication.



Required Knowledge and Skills

·         Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolio

·         Excellent written skills in English

·         Impeccable spelling and grammar

·         An eye for detail along with critical thinking

·         An ability to prioritize and multitask


Required Qualifications & Experience

•     Proven working experience as an editor.

•     BA degree in English Language, Journalism or any related field.

•     Must be a native English speaker.
